Payment Page 1.5.3 exposes the Stripe card method under the internal slug ccard. Card number, expiration, and CVC are mounted through Stripe Elements rather than ordinary WordPress text inputs.
The released front-end creates a Stripe card PaymentMethod. When Stripe reports that a Payment Intent requires action, the plugin calls Stripe's confirmCardPayment; for recurring setup it calls confirmCardSetup. Stripe decides whether authentication such as 3D Secure is required for a particular card and transaction.
Supported card brands depend on Stripe, the connected account, country, currency, card, and transaction. Review Stripe's current supported card documentation and 3D Secure documentation.
To enable cards, follow Activate Stripe payment methods, include the method on the individual form, and configure the mode-specific success events described in Stripe Webhook Configuration.
